How pricing works
Pay as you go with no contract: per-SMS rates that drop with volume, and per-message WhatsApp rates by category.
FortWave is pay as you go: there is no subscription, no setup fee and no contract. SMS and WhatsApp are priced and paid separately, so you only pay for the channels you use. Current rates are on the pricing page.
SMS
- You pay per SMS segment, from credits bought in bundles.
- The rate per SMS drops as your monthly volume grows, with lower rates above 10,000 and above 100,000 messages a month.
- Above one million messages a month, and for countries without a published rate, we quote a custom price.
- You pay per message, from your WhatsApp wallet.
- The price depends on the template category: marketing messages cost more than utility and authentication messages.
- Free-form replies inside the 24-hour window are charged per message, and each file sent counts as one message.
