Try FortWave for free in test mode

Test mode lets you see how FortWave messages arrive before you set anything up. Test messages are free and only go to a number you have proved you own.

To switch, use the Test / Live toggle at the top of the dashboard. In test mode the dashboard shows a test panel where you choose the channel to test.

Test WhatsApp

WhatsApp test messages come from FortWave's own sender, so you don't need a Meta account, a sender or a wallet yet.

1. 1Your number: enter the WhatsApp number you'll test with and select Continue.
2. 2Verify: select Send code on WhatsApp, open WhatsApp on that phone and enter the 6-digit code, then select Verify number. The code expires after 10 minutes, and you can request up to 3 codes a day.
3. 3Send a test: choose a test template, fill in a value for each placeholder and select Send test message.

Test SMS

For SMS you register one Burundi test number and verify it with a 6-digit code sent by SMS (valid for about 10 minutes). You'll find it under SMS → Sender IDs → Test phone number.

• Test SMS are free, within a small allowance of test segments shown on the page.
• When testing through the API, use the sender ID MiraiTest and an API key — see Send your first SMS with the API.
• You can change a verified test number only a limited number of times, so pick a line you'll keep.

Going live

When you're ready, switch the toggle to Live and complete the setup for the channel you want: SMS or WhatsApp.
