Send SMS from the dashboard

You send SMS from SMS → Messages in the dashboard. The page has a Send Message form at the top and your message history below it.

You need an approved sender ID and SMS credits.

Choose your recipients

• Enter Number: type one phone number, for example +25769803000.
• Select Contact: pick up to 200 saved contacts.
• Select groups: pick up to 10 contact groups. A contact who belongs to several of the selected groups receives one SMS per group, and each one uses credit.
• Templates: upload a CSV or TXT file to send a personalised SMS to each row (see below).

Write and send

1. 1Choose your Sender ID. Only approved sender IDs are listed.
2. 2Write your Message. The counter shows how many characters you have used.
3. 3Select Send Message, check the summary and confirm.

Personalise messages from a file

In the Templates tab you upload a file where each row is one recipient and the columns hold the values to insert:

• The first column is the phone number, with + and the country code.
• Each other column header becomes a placeholder you can use in the message, such as {{name}}.
• Files can be up to 5 MB, with up to 5 columns and 500 rows. One SMS is sent per row.
